Steps :

1.  Shower. Wash your hair, body and face. And have a nice smelling cologne. Girls like guys who smell good, it gives them a desire to be close to you. But don't overdo it on the cologne, otherwise, it really has an opposite effect.
 
2.  Workout. Girls LOVE athletic guys. Hit the gym or weight room. But don't overdo it on the weights. Nothing is sexier than pumped arms and washboard abs. Most girls want guys with muscles in moderation, it is a suggestion to avoid having muscles like a hardcore wrestler. Understand that you can still look hot without muscles, but you would need to make up for it through your personality and your looks. 

3.  Get involved with sports. Of course this is a stereotypical opinion, but so is the image of a "hot" guy. Try finding a sport you enjoy and perhaps find a team to join. If you are not the sporty type, go for something you love. Girls also like guys who can play instruments, or sing, or is an artist.

4.  Compliment some of the girls you interact with. Avoid going for things like eyes or smile, but start off casual. (Ex. That dress looks really nice/ good on you.) Many guys don't know the effect that these things can have, it makes girls feel warmer towards you.

5.  Don't be a player. Of course players can be hot, but by having a player reputation, it makes girls feel less inclined to date you, if they know about your previous relationships.

6.  Don't ignore her. Girls can't stand to think you don't want them

7.  Try to project your personality. Stereotypical personality types include guys who are confident, or silent, or rebellious, or out going, but never feel the need to change who you are, though being confident about yourself is a must.

8.  Wear nice clothes. They don't even need to be all that complicated. Many guys look perfectly fine in t-shirts, dress shirts, vests, jeans, a necklace or two, a scarf/ bandanna, a ring, a hat, a pair of sunglasses, etc. Maybe sweaters not so much. Pick up some American Eagle, Abercrombie, etc.
